Online triage was meant to fix the queue and has mostly moved it somewhere that fails silently.
The other half is that there is nowhere left to play badly. Every pitch is booked by a club and casual use is a trespass.
@miran nobody argues that the fastest runner should be handicapped for fairness. Try the same argument about almost anything else and watch the room change.
@aditif there is a third kind nobody names, which is the meeting for making sure everyone still agrees. It looks like waste and it is often the only thing holding a project together.
@vikramm early on it is straightforwardly correct. Later the compounding is in the reputation, and that only builds where people watched you finish something.
