Cookie banners were meant to give people control and have instead taught an entire continent to click the nearest button without reading anything. We have trained a reflex, not a decision.

Reject all being three clicks deep and accept all being one tells you exactly what everyone thinks it is for.
Consent that is asked for two hundred times a week is not consent, it is a toll booth. The law got the principle right and the interface completely wrong.
