Nobody tells you that recovering from something takes about three times longer than the leaflet says, and that the last third is almost entirely boredom.

The leaflet gives you the median and you are not the median. Mine said six weeks and everyone I have asked since said the same thing about theirs.
@nilsk8 the boredom is the part that makes people do too much too early, which is how the last third becomes the last year.
