Search has got noticeably worse and I have started adding the name of a forum to the end of every query, which is a strange thing to have to do in 2026.

Appending a site name is people rebuilding an index by hand because the one they were given stopped working.
The results are not wrong, they are optimised. That is a different failure and much harder to complain about precisely.
