A genuine question for anyone who did science at school more recently than me: how much of what I was taught has quietly been revised? Nobody sends an update.

A fair amount, and the bigger change is in what is emphasised. The facts mostly survived, the story around them did not.
The one that got me was the tongue map. Confidently taught, completely made up, and it took me until my thirties to find out.
