Nobody I know under forty mentions a pension and nobody over fifty talks about anything else. There is no middle period where it gradually comes up. One day it is simply the topic.

Plenty of people under forty think about it constantly and quietly panic, they just do not raise it at the pub because it is a miserable subject.
